        R. Gerald Markle 1950~2004. passed away at his home June 23, 2004 in South Pasadena after a long battle of 27 months with Pancreatic Cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. A beautiful memorial service was held on Sunday, June 27th at Hollywood Forever Cemetary where hundreds of family and friends came to pay their respects to a wonderful husband, father and friend.

        Ellen A. Pansky was recently a guest speaker at Emory University School of Law, Georgia and presented "From the Advocate's Advocate: Avoiding Liability for Breaches of Duty Relating to Communication and Diligence", March 2003. Ms. Pansky participated in the judging of law students First Year Oral Argument presentations, Loyola Law School, California. In June 2003 Ms. Pansky was a guest speaker for the California Workers Compensation Defense Attorneys Association, presentation topic "Professional Responsiblity for California Lawyers: Avoiding Problems and Dealing with the California State Bar. Ms. Pansky has completed her term as Chair of the State Bar's Committee on Women in the Law. Ms. Pansky is currently holding the position of past president of the National Association of Women Lawyers.
